After finding out from W Hong Kong that the W chain had a location in Bangkok, I was sold on going and booked my flight over. The W is a sort of home base for me--it makes me feel comfortable yet thrown into a completely alien atmosphere at the same time. Every location is different from the last and I really feel like the staff become my friends. It's never a dull experience.

It didn't hurt that the decor of this particular W was my favorite in a hotel, ever. Black ponyhair furnishings, embossed croc leather tables and walls, and black and white everything. Plus, look at that bathtub! So dreamy.

My favorite part of W hotels is their pools. They're always so unique and innovative. This particular one overlooked the city and had music playing underwater.

These photos were taken during the calm before the storm--what that night held for me was a Kolour Night party held at the W itself + hurried packing + heading out for my flight at 3:30 AM. Yikes. I feel like I didn't get to do everything I wanted to do in Bangkok, so I've already promised everyone I'm returning back soon. I can't wait to stay here again!
