I love everything about the holiday months except that the weather really tests your will...and your wardrobe. Your feet are what are in constant contact with all this, so you have to make sure they're protected. Every year, I search high and low for functional footwear that's actually stylish (which is surprisingly kind of hard to find). EMU Australia makes these amazing boots that are completely waterproof with a breathable membrane, and lined with fluffy Australian sheepskin for comfort and warmth. It doesn't hurt that they're super cute, versatile Western-inspired mid-calf boots with touches of suede, all on a non-skid treaded sole to insure you don't go slipping all over the place. I tested them in rain on both coasts and they passed with flying colors; now we're patiently awaiting snowfall in NYC. I'm excited to experience winter without feeling like my feet are going to freeze off for once!

Footwear always challenges me in the winter months, luckily we don't really have snow here and I can usually get away with heels until at least mid-november! These boots are really nice though, still cute and probably a lot more practical than anything that's on my feet this season!
ReplyDeletePS adore that top! Like I really want it!

Those boots are super cute! Haha, it doesn't quite get cold enough for my part of California for those though.

Great look; sweet set (of pics). Few could make a tee look as good as you do. (-:
ReplyDeleteLoving this look on you. The first photo is my favorite and you wear the freckles so well.
